All of my students are located in the North Philadelphia region where funding for schools is almost non existent. They should have and need adequate furniture and equal access to learning materials every day. My students require a lot of adaptations in the classroom and with a classroom with broken, hand me down, and even rotting furniture it makes the academic learning process even harder. I am requesting a safe room divider, storage cubbies, tables, and chairs to give my students a safe and accessible learning environment. Students with severe disabilities, like my students, need a calm, accessible and adaptable environment in order to learn. Having adequate furniture and learning materials is essential. The play kitchen and building sets will help them build many skills.
