These student athletes will gain a love of reading by being able to read a comic book about the sport they love. So many of our student athletes cannot find books they connect with, but Dragon Hoops is a book that will teach them about basketball, life, and reading. The students will be given the book at the successful end of their season and the English teachers given a study guide they can use to help guide the readers through the book and ignite their love of reading. The love of reading they will gain will ignite their love of books and hopefully, begin a life long love of literature.

About my class
