I hope to give my students a selection of art related activities that they can engage in when they complete their assignments early. Many students work at different paces and I don't believe in giving them busy work just to keep them from sitting idly. I would like to keep them off their phones and focused on creativity while in art class. The Art Activities Corner will include coloring books, art related games, books on drawing techniques, origami, as well as some sensory toys that will channel any nervous energy. It is meant to provide mental stimulation as well as relaxation.
