These materials will allow my students to see more representative literature in the classroom. These books will provide excellent base texts for students to work with before creating their own stories in our creative writing course. Students need access to texts that represent themselves and others within a school setting. Many basics such as writing materials and paper will allow my students to have supplies that they typically lack when coming to school. These, along with safety protections in the COVID era, will help set my students up for success.
