My students come from a wide variety of cultures. Our school is the largest middle school in the state and serves 5 zip codes. My specific classroom is a co-taught room with special education students integrated into the regular classroom. We have a diverse learning population! We teach reading and writing to many who cannot read when they come to us and to many who come to us hungry or having slept in a car. These students need extra support to succeed in school and become adults we can all be proud of.
