I teach a reading program in hopes to improve my students' reading abilities. Giving them books/graphic novels not connected to the program will make reading fun and memorable and will enhance their learning. My students show growth in their reading when they find books that they like and interest them. I will be using the box reading sets to promote the love of reading. This hopefully enhances their desire to read for pleasure. The everyday classroom supplies will be given to students to have/use in the classroom because many students come to school daily with no supplies.
