The materials that were chosen will make a difference in my student’s lives and learning. They have been introduced to yoga and mindfulness. The materials that were chosen will enhance that. The mindfulness mat kit and my mindful mat will teach the students how to work through their emotions, can help them focus their attention and help them center their thoughts and feelings in intentional ways. Mindfulness can be something that they remember to take out of the classroom to their homes. The yoga mat and books will stand as a safe place where students can go if they need that social emotional break.
