We all know that the majority of students now have devices such as cell phones in their hands at all times. Sometimes these can be used to our advantage in the classroom, but unfortunately, they tend to cause more distractions than anything. I hope to encourage students to leave their devices in a safe space by creating charging stations. Since our school has given each student a Chromebook of their own, all the technology they need is already at their fingertips. The headphones would also help keep students focused by giving them the option to listen to music during independent learning time. As a teacher who travels between rooms, each period, a cart to store this new equipment would make my life easier. We all thank you for your generous donation!
