I am a school counselor and one of the advisors for our high school's newly founded Mental Health Awareness Club. This club was started by a great group of students, who recognized the growing level of mental health challenges being faced by our students. The goal is to spread awareness and work on initiatives throughout the year that will support our students and connect them to resources. We aim to decrease our student's stress levels, so they can put forth the energy needed to be successful learners in the classroom. We are requesting materials that will be used for self-care kits in each of our classrooms and spreading kindness and awareness through different events in our cafeteria this year.
