The 6th grade students at Richard Butler would benefit from a poster printer in the classroom. In social studies, this machine can be used to print maps, primary sources, and graphic organizer activities. Having a larger print will allow students to analyze primary sources better as well as identify maps and locations more effectively. This printer can also be used in Science and Math class to map out multi step problems and labs. The printer would benefit Language Arts class by allowing students to have visually appealing graphic organizers, reading prompts, and rubrics to effectively analyze texts. The teachers could also use the printer to make large prints of rubrics, lesson examples, and prompts in the classroom.
