My students really love books! They get very excited when we go to the school library every Friday or when I tell them to choose a book from our classroom library. I love seeing them get excited about reading because I am helping all of them become fully bilingual and biliterate. To become fully biliterate, my students need more books written in Spanish. We are a dual immersion school (English/Spanish), and I was not given too many Spanish books for them or at their reading level. My classroom library is mostly books written all in English and for upper elementary grade levels. I really need to get books that my younger students can have reading access to and that they will enjoy. I don’t want them to get discouraged about reading when they are constantly pulling out books that are too hard for them to read. Please help me get more Spanish books for them! On behalf of my students, I thank you so much for your help.
