These students are getting a brand new teacher in the middle of the school year. The classroom is missing key materials to create a warm and welcoming environment students need to learn best. These are the basics of a classroom that are needed for routine, structure, and organization. Third grade is truly the year students become 'big kids.' I just want to do my best to make the rest of this year what they deserve. Being able to organize their materials, utilize outdoor learning spaces, and keep their library books in bins, I would love to create order and function out of our classroom space.
