With flexible seating options, my students will further realize how enjoyable reading can be! With the freedom to choose the best seating option, they can focus on their reading and learning instead of their surroundings. When students feel comfortable in a classroom, they often feel safer. Additionally, by giving students choice in a classroom (even if it's just their seating!), they have greater ownership of their learning! My hope is to provide students with the right environment and tools to take hold of their learning and pursue their curiosity. With flexible seating, students will feel comfortable and focused to follow the questions they have. With seat sacks, students will have a helpful way of remaining organized, which will allow for more time to explore their questions! Creating a positive classroom environment is a crucial step in supporting the learning of my students, and these objects would play an important part!
