My twenty ESL Pre-K4 students are extremely eager to learn through playing and exploring literacy. Our school's motto is "Work Hard, Be Nice" and that is just what my students do. They wake up and arrive at school at 7 and stay until as late as 5:30 each day. We make it a point to read as many books as we can during the day through each of our lessons. While our school does not have a library for the elementary students, we are lucky enough to have many public libraries in our city. Unfortunately due to the cost of traveling that means that many of our families are unable to go to the local library to check out books. We are working on expanding our classroom libraries, while also using the resources available to us througout the city. We would love help transforming our students into readers through donors like you.
