With the weather getting colder, my students need indoor recess choices, such as legos and puzzles, that will encourage their creativity and imagination! They are currently playing with math manipulatives like unifix cubes and pattern blocks because that's all I have for them! Most of my students are ELL, so having board games that they can play with their friends would help them with their communication skills while having fun! Puzzles would also be great for their memory and problem-solving skills. I have quite a few artists in the class, so having markers, crayons, and paper available for their creations would be amazing!
