I am requesting STEM and STEAM resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. I plan on purchasing four STEM/STEAM bundles filled with engaging activities based on my science curriculum. Students will use concepts learned to complete projects that include building a bridge, creating a chain reaction, and making a safe shelter as well as many others. As a science teacher, I get to see the excitement that hands-on science activities bring to my students. I don't want to lose that spark because my district does not invest heavily in science materials. Our books are outdated and do not fit my curriculum any longer. These STEM activities foster cooperation, team building, effort, perseverance, patience, empathy, creativity, and flexibility among other character building traits.
