Having fresh, new books in our classroom library will excite these little learners to at least look past the cover and encourage them to try to read the text throughout the book. Learning to read is hard...new books make it just a little easier. New books make it that much more inviting so that hard doesn't seem so hard. They learn that even they can do hard things. Let's read TODAY!
