Teaching in a windowless classroom has its fair share of challenges, and I would like to complement my classroom's aesthetic by adding hydroponic gardens. My students are very interested in gardening and this project for 3 Aerogarden hydroponic gardens and seed kits would be a perfect way to implement hands-on gardening lessons and bring the outside world into my classroom. The hydroponic gardens will be used to make relations to the natural world and teach students about wellness, global awareness, responsibility and how to be self-sufficient in the real world. This will be my first installment in my classroom to using organic materials to engage students and create an interactive classroom environment.
