While most students are back to in-person instruction with classrooms fully decorated with learning material, my students are still learning over Zoom from home. Engaging second grade students online can be challenging at times. Being able to jazz it up by personalizing folders, creating crafts, creating themes for months, celebrating holidays, birthdays and much more can be done by using the Cricut Maker. This project will allow me provide universal backgrounds to students who feel left out. My classroom encompasses students from all over my district. Some can't afford ABC charts, addition and subtraction charts, and calendars to be in their workspace or working area at home. This project will allow me give them the tools they need to succeed and feel included.
