These books cover topics that are relevant to things students are experiencing in the world and can help foster discussion and personal growth. This can be a way to launch healthy discussions of social issues students are facing. It will give us the ability for a book club to all read the same title and we will share these with other schools in our district and create a lending library with them. Students at ECHS don't always have the opportunity to get to go the media center since they are at the NSU BA campus.
