The sports equipment I will be purchasing with the grant will be impactful on the students in Physical Education because it will expanding their learning. And by that, the students will have more opportunities in activities that they have never have had in years past. For example, I would've love the opportunity to have used the scooters in a soccer game. Unfortunately, the scooters I have are not in the best conditions. Also, the bowling set and the ping pong set will be great during recreational activities. The gator balls that I have now are pretty much worn out and my count on them are very low as well as the playground balls. Not having enough room in my office, particularly shelves, has been troublesome in putting equipment away. So purchasing a scooter cart would be ideal for me to create more space and opportunities for reorganizing. The little basketballs would give my kinder through 2nd graders an opportunity the utilize the ball in an appropriate manner such as learning how to shoot and dribble.
