Our students participate in an inclusion foods class. The general and special ed students work together to bake in class. This provides the special ed students with the opportunity to use stand mixers with their peers to learn vocational and independent living skills. By donating to our program, you will provide our students with the opportunity to learn how to use stand mixers so they will have employable skills. Not only help to improve and increase student's independent skills, you will ultimately help to increase their confidence. This will help them learn how to bake items on their own. During this class, the students learn how to read a recipe, measure ingredients, use a stand mixer, follow multi-step directions, and work as a team.
