Our school is starting a new program to help harness motivation and creativity. At the beginning of the day we will have a Hawks Nest time which is a 25 minute time slot where students will get to go enjoy an activity that appeals to them. What student or even some adults don't like art and legos? To help encourage motivation and creativity we plan on offering 2 separate activities with legos and coloring. Legos are a great way to help encourage the engineer in all of us while having fun. Coloring can be a very relaxing way to remove stress as a student starts their day. We can't wait to get this program started and see how excited our students will be since these are just 2 of the many examples of activities that will be offered to them on a rotational basis.
