A lot of my students are not able to afford to bring snack due to financial reasons. We have a late lunch and the students tend to become very unfocused during our learning time when I’m unable to provide them with snacks. The students tend to become very unfocused and more antsy when their tummies are hungry. They are third grade and growing boys and girls, who are very active in and out of the classroom. This would help them stay focused and the bellies full enough until we get to our lunch!
