The following materials will allow all self contained student to access to the school sensory room on school campus. The sensory room is designed to provide our students with a calming space, separate from their classroom, and dedicated to stimulate, developing and relaxing their senses. The use of this equipment will help to develop and practice skills including: hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, communication, and sensory skills within a safe environment. With our sensory room it will allow students freedom and autonomy to explore the environment for themselves, in their own time, using all of their senses.
