Teachers have so many standards to cover, and often work to catch up on so many missed skills, that there are few opportunities for enrichment. Our library/media center (LMC) supports, extends, and supplements classroom learning. Supplying our LMC with equipment and supplies (such as Legos) provides students a fun way to explore and build upon concepts they learn in their classes. And, of course, it gets them into the library where they can engage in discussions about reading and technology to further enhance their educational experience. We use all means to ensure students' well being and academic success!
