My project is to replace the computers in the library with up to date ones. The current ones were built in 1993 and have been upgraded as much as they can, but now they are kaput. Our school did not have a certified librarian on campus so our name was removed from the list to get new computers every other year, and we do not have the funds to backdate the computers owed to us. Students come in needing to work on their online courses, testing, registration for colleges, research, and other needs, but end up giving up since the computers either shut down or constantly say they need updating. Students will be able to access the things they need and won't have to worry about losing information in the middle of an assignment. I realize I am asking for a lot, but anything helps and it's a start to giving my students and library they deserve.
