Students will be able to read articles that include topics related to math. My hope is that by reading about math, students will become more interested in math concepts and potentially create an interest in choosing a career in math. Who doesn't want to read about fun stuff in math? That's the desire that I hope my students come with each week when they receive a new magazine. This year my district is putting a big emphasis on literacy and what better way to support it than with Math Weekly Readers!
