The project money will be used for Unit 4 which focuses on Evolution and Natural Selection. The instructional focus of this lab pertains to, HS-LS4-1, "Communicate scientific information that common ancestry and biological evolution are supported by multiple lines of empirical evidence." Dissecting a variety of species will enable students to physically experience and recognize differences between homologous, vestigial, and analogous structures. Students will learn about adaptations of organisms over time through tactile learning. Without this support students learning would be limited to online simulations. Thank you for your support.
