A child's light shines through in an environment that celebrates differences and ensures their physiological and emotional needs are met as much as those that are educational. Much of that need, in my classroom, stems from difficulty remaining in a seated position. Their bodies are stimulated and crave movement. Sometimes, this manifests itself into actions perceived as misbehavior, when, in reality, they just need to move! My goal for our classroom is to implement the use of sensory wiggle seats in order to address this need and give them their best chance for success.

About my class
