Everyday our kids face many battles, many of which are out of their control. But they are so resilient, most times you would never know that their last meal was the school lunch from the day before, or that they didn't get any sleep last night because they've been displaced. Unfortunately some instances, such as old or worn out clothes, are more evident. As well as the shoes with a hole at the toe, or the smell from the shirt they've had on all week. This project would help build at "School Closet" so our kids have access to clean clothing that fits as they continue to grow. We would provide more jackets in the winter, and pants that allow them to sit comfortably. Learning is easier when you have the space to leave your troubles behind. Although we can't fix all of their problems, we can help make the day to day a little easier.
