Ukeleles are easy to learn and will help the students learn to read music and apply music concepts learned in music class. Most of these students do not have the opportunity to buy or rent instruments at home. I want to give them a musical experience where they have opportunities to play an instrument. Also, Ukeleles are instruments that they may be able to purchase at affordable prices if they choose to want one for home use. Our new music curriculum has a uke section that teaches how to play a ukelele.

About my class
