These materials would provide the foundation of the student's smoothie shop. They will be able to start their on campus business and start earning a paycheck! From cooking, to money handling, to costumer service, this student ran business will provide valuable opportunities for my students with special needs to grow. Students will learn how to prep fruit and other ingredients, how to properly use kitchen equipment like a knife and blender, and how to present professionally with their aprons and name tags. The money from sales will go back to the students’ program for our community based outings like bowling, restaurants, and trips to the store. The students are eager to get to work!
