The lessons are self-guided so students can complete what they need at home if they don't finish the assignments at school. Some students might go ahead so they can learn new standards beyond that of their grade level. This will allow struggling students the ability for more time and those that don't need more time to continue. Learning gaps in public schools are huge so teachers need to figure out a way to differentiate instruction and help both sides of learning. Each lesson has an online warm-up that they submit to me. Then they have an online guided notes notebook with an online video of me teaching them the notes. After that I have must do practice problems and should do practice problems. These are also guided with videos through edpuzzle. In the end, there is a mastery check to see if they learned the standard. If they don't then they must reduce the assignment after finding and correcting their mistakes. once they pass mastery they move on.
