These books will help students to read the literature they are actually interested in, the literature they can find themselves in. Many times we offer outdated literature and curricula and students just shut off because it is not relevant to who they are or want to be. With these books, my students will find topics that interest them, rediscover what it means to read for fun (and education), and improve their reading and writing skills. This means they will be doing better in life, improve their vocabulary, become better writers, analyzers, and well-rounded people and scholars.
