The items we are in need of include textured balls, LEGO’s, sensory disc, and weighted cushions. Some of these materials will be utilized during choice time for sensory purposes. Sensory items allow students the ability to stay calm, allowing them to focus on instruction. Sensory items also allow students the ability to learn how to regulate their own behavior. When one has the ability to regulate his/her own behavior, he or she is becoming more independent. Thank you all so much for your help and support, Ms. Valtman's Flippen Fabulous Friends
