These books will encourage students to want to read in my classroom. I want students to enjoy reading and these books will help. Students have not had access to library books during the pandemic. They are noticeably behind in their reading skills. The novels we read in class are not high-interest. High-interest books are a great way to grow students' brains! Their reading skills will not improve unless the students are reading. Having a selection of books in my room that these students can choose from will encourage them to read.
