Several of our students are living in temporary housing. At this time, we are gathering nonperishable food items for our special education students who are less advantaged to create a food pantry. We want the students to have food to take home throughout the year, especially during holidays. It is difficult for children to function and focus on academic success when they are hungry. We are concerned that not eating will impact the children's mental and social-emotional health. When children do not get enough to eat, their sleeping and functional patterns are affected. They cannot function in school, significantly impacting their learning ability. Please contribute to a child's meal. Thank you for looking at my project and for your support.
