My students excel in their curiosity, eagerness, and determination when participating in their school routines. That makes working with them very rewarding and productive. When being guided by a teacher they complete objectives with a high rate of success. Where they need help is in their independent work. For some students it is very difficult to stay on task and for others they struggle understanding the instructions. The games in this project are all related to general education skills that my students are working on. The special thing about these games is that they can be practiced independently. This is a very important skill and one that will have a ripple affect all through my students' education. There is nothing that can replace the skill of independence.
