By providing a backpack to our students that are Mckenly Vento certified (Homeless) and parent are unable to buy their student a decent clean backpack, where they can carry their school supplies. Such as notebooks, pencils, Chromebook (provided by district) I know our student will be carrying their backpack with more confidence. Our students don't know that I have applied to his project, and will also encourage them more to be in class on time as well to have clean supplies, I hope you can picture the smile on this students when they see a brand new backpack given to to them. In our District we have a Mckenly Vento students that are struggling financially with a place to live as all the things that allow them to have decent clothing and supplies.
