In 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students desperately need to have microscopes to view microbes, cell tissues, and rocks and minerals. We currently only have two microscopes that are in working order. It has been my desire as the newly hired school science teacher to find equipment for my students to give them hands-on STEAM experiences. Our classroom goal is to acquire a class set of 30 microscopes one at a time. Science funding at our school is limited each year and this gift would make a great impact in achieving our goal.
