The items I have selected will increase and enhance student engagement during literacy centers. Each item will be used during our small group instruction time to foster student collaboration, provide targeted practice for scholars, and motivate individual learners. The Teacher Pay Teachers gift card and printer will allow students to engage in literacy-based center games and independent work. The iPads and headphones will give students independent practice in basic reading skills. The letter tiles and bingo games will allow students to engage in group activities to strengthen their skills in spelling and sight word recognition.
