I am a school-based speech language pathologist in a Title One school. I have a diverse caseload including many students who speak Spanish in the home. Many of the items on my list are books to help make my library more culturally and linguistically diverse. The Teachers Pay Teachers Gift card will also allow me to created adapted books for my students with intellectual disabilities. Half of my caseload is also comprised of students with Developmental Delay and/or Intellectual Disabilities, and I could really use some more play-based activities to help teach them functional communication through life skills! Many of my students have Down syndrome and/or Autism, and learn best through functional, play-based activities.
