These materials are used for reduction printmaking. I teach my middle school students how to do advanced level works of art. These materials are used by college students as well and when they learn that, the sense of pride and responsibility is visible. I have them learn about famous printmakers and art movements such as Pop Art and they create works of art following their style using the reduction print method. I hope to be able to provide this experience to my Art 1 students this year and in the future.
