“Large Enough to See” depicts the importance of my kindergarten and first grade students having an opportunity to experience lessons through vivid imagery and videography. When students are engaged, the lessons become rewarding. The Samsung LED Monitor is the product I am proposing for my DonorsChoose Project. This device has the best analysis results based on expert ratings, user reviews and price history, and will prove to be an exceptional asset in the classroom during lesson time as it further our goal of advance learning. Students will be able to explore content in depth through technology. For example, in the lesson plan Plant Survival, students will watch a video of a sunflower garden at the beginning of the lesson. Students will be asked to discuss the following question after the video: “Have you ever wondered what helps plants survive? The Samsung LED Monitor is large and ensures that all students can explore the video together. Showing a video to the whole class and asking a question at the beginning of the lesson is a great way to promote excitement as the students are engaged in learning new content.
