These books will help my students become more excited about reading. By having a selection of books to choose from they can pick a book that interests them and read independently. Most of my students enjoy reading in class, and by creating a classroom library they will be able to read books that were not picked for them. Having content that is relatable to the students is also important so that they can better contect to the story. Having easier access to reading material will also help them academically because they will become stronger readers and more excited to learn. By having a classroom library they may be inspired to pass on their new love of reading to family members, friends, or classmates. Reading has been an important part of my life and I want to help my students discover a love of books.
