The novels in Spanish are intended for our newest Language Learners so that they can adjust to schooling in English but also stay with the rest of the class with regards to content. They are the same novels that our English speaking students will be reading. In addition to learning English and keeping up with their literacy skills, our students have the opportunity to foster and find homes for small animals currently at the local animal shelter. The supplies will allow for a classroom and a home habitat (for weekends and holidays).
