These items will support the Nevada Academic Content Standards for ELA Reading Informational Text 3.1 - 3.10; 4.1 - 4.10; 5.1 - 5.10; and 6.1 - 6.10 by placing exciting enrichment texts in the hands of our students. When students are able to see themselves in the text that is taught in the classroom, they are able to experience a sense of self efficacy that is not able to be produced otherwise. Through these texts and the use of literature circle formats, students will learn the skills they need while being continuously engaged in the literature. It is and has always been my goal to help every student see their full potential, and this project will help me reach all students.

About my class
