I have been dreaming about a nice seating area for reading and class community time. We spend much time on a carpet where I teach them through a digital board. Many students are so uncomfortable that they slouch down and are constantly moving or leaning on each other. I know it's not super necessary, but the kids would be super excited and feel valued to get to do some of our class time sitting around our carpet in these chairs. I have 6 students at one time in each grade level so I do need 6. In these chairs, they would listen to instruction and read. They would do some independent reading and have classroom discussions in them. I originally thought I would get bean bags but I like the fact that they would have some back support.
