The materials selected such as soaps, lotions, and chapstick are intended to assist students with their personal appearance. It will give them the confidence to be socially interactive and participate in many school wide activities. In addition, our students are encouraged to speak up and practice public speaking. Although we have some supplies, we have found that our families have been impacted more than what we are aware of during the pandemic. These items are for individual student use and will be stored in my office. We will provide these items for students as they are presenting oral class projects, attending off school events, or upon request, as needed. Academic presentation and personal hygiene and appearance go hand and hand. This will also support our Health Hygiene lesson and students will be aware that these items are available to them.
